Hmmmm, what is happening in the world today that is making me think about things for a little longer than I normally would.
This last week I have been to Owlcatraz, in Shannon, which is a small Native bird and wildlife park. There I learnt about Owls and other birds. On Monday I went to Lindale which is a farm park, with small animals which you can feed. On Tuesday I went to Mt Bruce which is a native bird reserve just south of Eketahuna. Wonderful place, full of fantastic NZ native birds including a white Kiwa named Manukura.
My thoughts after my week of native bird watching and learning is:
"What can I do to help save native birds??"
Hmmm: Arahi's thinking
The Kaka, one of the many beautiful birds at Mt Bruce and friendly enough
to want to come down and sit with us.
